Event will be streamed live online
The Akron Racers have announced that Legends Sports Pub and Grille will be the official host of the 2012 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) College Draft watch party March 7.
Fans are invited to join Akron Racers’ outfielder Sharonda McDonald and Racers staff beginning at 5 p.m. for the draft. Raffle prizes and an Akron Racers trivia contest will take place before the draft broadcast begins at 5:45 p.m.
The Akron Racers hold the third overall pick in the first round of this year’s draft. Last season, Racers’ GM Joey Arrietta selected Taylor Schlopy with their first round pick.
Legends Sports Pub and Grille is located at 1840 Town Park Blvd in Uniontown, just west of I-77 South and Massillon Road.
Can’t make it to the watch party? The draft will be streamed live online through the NPF website at www.profastpitch.com.
