Navigating the sea of concrete at Summit Mall to find the closest parking spot may have just become easier with the addition of valet parking at the mall's main entrance. For $3, locally owned valet service Park For You will do just that: park for you.

The service just started and is offered only on weekends, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mall officials see this new service as being exceptionally beneficial during the holiday shopping rush.

“It is an amenity you will find at more upscale shopping and dining venues, but it is meant for anyone to use and should prove to be successful at Summit Mall,” said Kate Anderson, director of mall marketing at Summit Mall. It should become more widely used as the rain turns to snow during the busy holiday season, she added.

If guests of the mall dine at Bravo, their valet ticket will be validated after their meal.

“This service will not go away anytime soon and neither will our support through validation,” said Kevin Lambes, general manager of Bravo. “It should be a service that will enhance the experience of each guest by taking away the hassle of finding a parking spot.”

At this time Bravo is the only restaurant that will validate the valet ticket.

Valet parking is one of the latest additions at Summit Mall and it has the support of the businesses in the area. So, the next time you are struggling to find a parking spot, remember that the closest spot is always available on the weekend.
